Communicating and disseminating scientific results to share with health professionals, researchers, policy makers & the public
The overall project management is the responsibility of IRD and FMER. These two institutions work together to coordinate the planning and implementation of scientific activities, provide communication strategies and dissemination of results, assist with financial management, monitor the scientific quality and ensure appropriate risk management.
Communication and dissemination of the scientific results achieved by the consortium is an important part of the Coclican project, in order to share insights into methods for the early diagnosis of liver cancer. Dissemination tools such as the website, national and international scientific journals, organisation of conferences and communications in congresses make information available to other scientists. For the public, the website and social media feeds (facebook, twitter, youtube) provide easily accessible information. The project will also produce practical recommendations for policy makers.
Exploitation will be driven by the management team in coordination with economic stakeholders. The manager will be supported by public (valorisation department of the IRD and ULB) and private entities (MATWIN, TTI, Biomerieux industry).
