Ramiro Fernandez is a Surgical Oncologist at the National Cancer Institute in Lima, Peru. He is currently studying Hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery at the Henri Bismuth Institute. His work is currently focused on minimally-invasive surgery for the liver and HCC diagnosis and management. His past research was in MIS for the digestive system which has been presented at international congresses (i.e. Beijing, China 2017). A member of the IHPBA and Associate fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He collaborates with the Peruvian Society of Endoscopic Surgery and with IRD France.
