Mohamed Haddad


Mohamed Haddad is Associate Research Professor at the IRD (CR-IRD) in Chemistry of Natural Products/Pharmacognosy since 2006, at the UMR 152 Pharma-dev, Université Paul Sabatier (Toulouse, France). He is co-author of more than 40 peer-reviewed articles in the topic and he is the head of the team PEPS (Pharmacognosy, ethnopharmacology and pathologies from developing countries). Mohamed is a specialist in complex natural macromolecules (saponins) with long-term scientific experience in South America, around the Amazonian rainforest. He has skills in plant selection, collection and identification as well as in chemistry of natural products with extraction, isolation, identification and structure elucidation.
